George III Period Mahogany Urn Table (c. 1765 England)

A Fine George III period carved mahogany urn table. With a serpentine square top with a moulded edge over a shaped frieze and bead moulded border, one side with pull-out slide with brass axe-head handle. The well drawn and beautifully slender cabriole legs, carved at the knee, are joined by a concave shaped platform stretcher; all terminating in swept shaped feet and original leather and brass castors.

Condition Lovely condition, of lustrous colour and patina.
