A most unusual late George II period mahogany pedestal desk, with unusual cellaret drawer.


This one piece pedestal desk or library table is of superb quality and undoubtedly made in a distinguished London workshop.

Medium Mahogany.
Condition The colour and patination are sublime and it retains all the original gilt metal handles on both sides, together with the original locks and cellaret liner. The replacement leather was done in our workshops using the finest hide and worked on to create a rich and harmonious finish and colour.
